  • 2 cups full-fat cottage cheese
  • 1.5 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided: 1 cup mixed into base, 1/2 cup reserved for topping)
  • 1 cup pasta sauce (marinara or favorite pizza sauce)
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup mixed pizza toppings (pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, mushrooms) — customize to taste
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Whisk together 2 cups cottage cheese, 1 cup shredded mozzarella, 3 large eggs, 1 tsp dried oregano, and 1 tsp garlic powder until well combined.
  3. Spread a layer of 1 cup pasta or pizza sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Pour the cottage cheese mixture evenly over the sauce.
  5. Scatter 1 cup mixed pizza toppings evenly over the mixture.
  6. Sprinkle the reserved 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella over the toppings.
  7. If desired, spoon a thin additional layer of sauce on top.
  8. Bake for 30–35 minutes, until cheese is bubbling and edges are lightly browned.
  9. (Optional) Broil 2–3 minutes at the end to brown the top, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  10. Remove from oven and let cool a few minutes to set before cutting.
